of Exceptional Murano Glass Pieces
Since 1931, between traditional craftsmanship and innovation, beyond Paris and Murano, Veronese has been supporting creativity and high decoration. “Even today, Veronese continues to push the boundaries of Murano art by welcoming original ideas from around the globe that captivate far beyond the borders of Paris and Venice.”
Murano Glass Meets Contemporary Design
Veronese is a historic house of art and design specializing in the creation of Murano glass pieces. Established in Paris since 1931, its history is rooted in renewal, the quest for new forms, and the dialogue between art, design, and techniques.
In a dynamic of innovation built on centuries-old know-how, the House, taken over in 2009 by Freddie Jochimek, joined by his two sons, Ruben and Jonathan, works with contemporary designers and decorators. Drawing inspiration from collections, some of which are designed to be modular, archives, or by imagining new forms, they often push the boundaries of the material.
Veronese’s perfect knowledge of the Murano glass ecosystem allows it to choose the best master glassmaker according to the techniques and experiments required (blown glass, stretched glass, gold leaf, color palette, structure…), and to support the creativity of the House’s designers and those with whom it collaborates. Tristan Auer, Reda Amalou, Patrick Naggar, Dan Yeffet, Samuel Accocebery, Isabelle Stanislas, Raphael Navot, Tal Lancman et Maurizio Galante… All have brought new challenges, met with Veronese and the artisans of Murano.

COLLECTIONS
How Veronese approaches its core business?
A repertoire of shapes and decorative as well as utility creations.
From neoclassical splendor to contemporary boldness, and through minimalist pieces, each creation reflects the mastery of translating technical drawings into reality by glass artisans. Organic forms, from orbs to droplets, showcase the Maison’s commitment to innovation and stylistic exploration. Lighting fixtures, mirrors, stools, tables, vases, bowls, and artistic installations—each piece embodies timeless elegance, bearing the imprint of ancestral glass art and contemporary design.
Research and development (R&D) and innovation are at the heart of our developments.
Through its design office, Veronese conceives custom technical solutions and explores new techniques to meet the creativity of designers, allowing metal structures or technology to fade behind the transparency of glass. Veronese is also a hub for exchange, envisioned as a think tank for the crafts of art and creation, where constant reflection and ideation thrive.
The Murano craftsmanship
Each piece is handcrafted on the Venetian island, following the ancient tradition of blown glass, an excellence passed down through generations. This close and faithful relationship between Veronese and the most renowned workshops on the island ensures transparent collaboration, with a perfect understanding of both the possibilities and limits of the material. This trusted bond with the House also ensures the workshops in Murano are committed to extraordinary projects, sometimes pushing beyond established techniques towards new processes.
Working with architects and decorators.
In its Parisian space, Veronese welcomes clients for personalized guidance, which often revolves around four main approaches:
Customization
The catalog showcases the Maison’s creations as sources of inspiration: lighting fixtures, vases, stools, chandeliers, etc. Each piece in the catalog can be customized with new colors, finishes, and dimensions.
Reconfiguration of Modular Systems
This approach involves creating new designs based on specific and modular collections. Pieces like ICE, Anémone, Corail, Polyèdre, Triedre are particularly suitable. Circular design, cascade effect, pyramidal or linear lines—these collections offer endless creative possibilities. Clients can use each glass element independently.
Bespoke Creation
The in-house team collaborates directly with clients to imagine and design unique pieces based on specific briefs. This includes lighting fixtures, furniture pieces, mirrors, vases, or artistic installations. Veronese’s exceptional designers assist in residential projects, high-end hospitality, or office space planning.
Development of Specific Designs
Veronese can also develop designs envisioned by clients for their projects, based on finalized drawings or sketches. The integrated design office conducts research and development, proposes alternatives if needed, and prepares all technical drawings for Murano artisans to ensure a perfect balance of aesthetics, technology, and functionality.
Upcycling and Restoration of Lighting Fixtures
With over 90 years of experience in glass art, structure, and lighting technology, Veronese applies its expertise to pieces needing a fresh start. From repairs to creating new glass elements or redesigning supports, old pieces are revitalized.
An example of collaboration:
Veronese and Jouin Manku for La Mamounia
A large-scale project featuring a monumental chandelier with a diameter of 8.50 meters. Jouin Manku, a prestigious French interior design studio, enlisted Veronese for their expertise in metalwork and aerial structures. In addition to providing technical design expertise, specifically in metalworking, Veronese reimagined the original design of this suspension by incorporating Murano glass elements. For Ruben Jochimek, artistic director of Veronese, this realized project is a source of great pride, as meticulous development ensured every detail for a unique on-site assembly.
Attachment system, alignment, tension balance, weight distribution—a design process with no safety net. The chandelier was transported in multiple pieces and assembled on-site in Marrakech, during 2020—a challenging year globally due to Covid-19. The version installed at La Mamounia , within the expected timeframe, is adorned with discreet glass plates, a suggestion Veronese proposed during discussions with architects before production.
As a house steeped in history, pushing the boundaries of Murano glass material and techniques to create iconic and distinctive pieces, Veronese welcomes clients to its Paris showroom, the starting point for every project.
