The Montex Workshop is exhibiting at Villa Noailles | Until November 5, 2023 |
For her Carte Blanche Exhibition: “Love, the Sea, Women,”
Aline Asmar d’Amman collaborated with
Chanel’s Maisons d’art.
Atelier Montex created a mimosa branch with transparent colours, evoking a fresh and light Mediterranean atmosphere. Details embroidered in concrete mesh echo the “literary concrete” imagined by Aline Asmar d’Amman for the exhibition held until November 5th at the ‘Ancien Evêché palace in Toulon as part of the 7th Festival of Interior Architecture at Villa Noailles, Design Parade Toulon 2023.
The branches are presented on the “mobile des métiers,” an exclusive object designed by Aline Asmar d’Amman in collaboration with the Atelier François Pouenat.
Inspired by a phrase from Cocteau, “I don’t know what this object is or how it presents itselfbut I like that it exists and dream about it,” the mobile showcases objects specially created by the Métiers d’Art of Fashion, le19M: Lemarié, Lognon, Goossens, Lesage (Hubert Barrère), Massaro, Atelier Montex, Studio MTX, Paloma, Maison Michel.
